'Fund a Child in India' (FCI) is a charitable trust registered under the Trust Act, 1882 Vide No.SHV-4-00054/2014-15 having its jurisdiction to design and implement various poverty alleviation programs and schemes throughout India.

Fund a Child in India is an EDUCATION initiative mainly focusing on “CHILD & YOUTH CARE” through the medium of basic & higher education besides essential training for employment sustainability.

Its primary target communities are below poverty line households. This means the disadvantaged people such as slum dwellers, contract Laborers, construction workers and various other categories of other people an urban milieu. In a rural setup, this may include the dalits, the economically backward class people, the agricultural workers and the people belonging to minority communities from lower income group.

FCI gives a fillip to the girl children from the above communities. It encourages the cause of girl child education, employable skills and in imparting special useful courses for
their jobs.

FCI endeavors at the overall transformation of people reeling under the clutches of illiteracy unemployment and ignorance.
